NO SPELL CHECKER NECESSARY

Wait; let’s slow things down a second.
Turn time back if we can. I want to
watch you type the words you've sent.

See if these silly mistakes in spelling
and arranging were on purpose, or
simply because you typed too fast—

unsure of what you might write. Were
you emotionally distraught or merely
disengaged? Would you take any back

if you could, or was it all a remarkable
product of premeditation—a calculated
effort to make me second-guess your

words—to recheck this document after
it was printed, offering you one last
chance to admit your careless mistakes?
